Outside of USC the Pac 10 is weak up and down. Whereas every team in the SEC is strong, but you wouldnt always notice it because of the perennial powerhouses there. So yes everyone wants to see USC but thats once a year, Texas would be tested every week in the SEC, and every game would be fun to watch, I dont think youd see any 50-7 blowouts if they were in the SEC, in the Pac 10 however you might see a few.

Plus feel PAC-10 can offer the matchups the two you mentioned are the weakest Pac-10 teams versus the top SEC teams on the other hand how bout matchups of.

Texas vs USC (probalby the best National Championship game seen in a long long time)

where SEC could be

Texas vs Vanderbildt or Mississipi State

Its all about the Benjamins son, and the SEC can bring in a lot bigger numbers and revenue with Longhorns v. Gators as opposed to Longhorns v. Washington or ASU.

I don't know original reports had both Texas and Oklahoma schools coming to Pac-10. We do already have Colorado but think we will eventually land the teams mentioned above has Texas can be the Top-dog in the PAC-10 whereas another competitor in the SEC.

Colorado to my knowledge is already there, and I dont think youll get Texas, they will be able to get a lot more money and attention in the SEC, but crazier things have certainly happened.

New refined Pac-10 going to make it that much harder for ASU to compete. Hope they end up just bringing in Colorado and Texas and we call it the 12-Pac!!!
